About Us

In 1998, after the dissolution of Maier, Pastor & Salt, Marcos Salt and Natalia Sergi joined Gil Lavedra & Asociados law firm.

Later on, in 2002, Salt & Asociados opened its own offices and brought in the prestigious jurist from Córdoba, Dr. José I. Cafferata Nores, as consultant lawyer.

Today, as Salt & Sergi, we continue the tradition of the criminal law practice in which we have been trained.
All our members are lecturers at the School of Law of Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) and Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC) and in other universities in Argentina and other countries.

Additionally to our professional practice as specialists in complex criminal matters, we have ample experience in consulting services for domestic and international public and private institutions on cybercrime, collection and use of digital evidence in criminal proceedings, international cooperation on criminal matters, reform of criminal justice systems, project development, and training.

Our professional practice is focused on criminal law and criminal procedure. We are specialists in complex criminal matters, tax crimes, offenses against public administration, corporate fraud, cybercrime, and digital evidence. We also have a sector specialized in extraordinary appeals and appeals before the Supreme Court of Justice, the National Chamber of Cassation in Criminal Matters and the Provincial Superior Courts.
